12/16 recap (Part 1- The Top 25)
Let's just get to it, as this took place yesterday in the Top 25:
(3)Purdue over (1)Arizona 92-84 (So thanks to a balanced effort from Purdue, we're gonna have ANOTHER new team at #1 next week.)
(2)Kansas over Indiana 71-67 (Kansas always seems to find themselves in close games in the month of December, do they? At least this one was a hard-fought win.)
(4)Houston over Texas A&M 70-66 (First win for Houston over A&M since 2003)
Michigan State upsets (6)Baylor 88-64 (Well! It's about time that Michigan State shows up for the 2023-24 season.)
(8)Creighton over Alabama 85-82
(12)Tennessee over NC State 79-70
Memphis over (13)Clemson 79-77 (This is now, what, the 3rd ranked team that Memphis has knocked off?)
(15)Florida Atlantic over St. Bonaventure 64-54
(19)Texas over LSU 96-85
(20)James Madison over Hampton 88-71 (First 10-0 start for the Dukes in program history!)
(22)Virginia over Northeastern 56-54
(24)Miami over La Salle 84-77
(25)Northwestern over DePaul 56-46
And finally, Ohio State won over UCLA and Kentucky holds off North Carolina in the CBS Sports Classic. Quite a day, eh?
