Playing my first game in almost 4 years tomorrow night in a 30+ league. I'm gonna fucking score too

My friend refs in Oakville and last night they had to call the police because some idiot crosschecked a guy on the bench in the face while his teammate was getting kicked out of the game.

So, ya know, don't get arrested.

Remember that one time we played Boston in the playoffs and we had McLaren-Colborne-Orr as a line?

Then remember that Leo Komarov, Ryan Hamilton, Matt Frattin and Jay McClement were elsewhere on that forward group?

I feel like people need to be reminded of that once in a while after shouting at Auston Matthews for scuffing a chance lol.

Remember when Clarke MacArthur was scratched in the playoffs and Ryan Hamilton, Matt Frattin and Colton Orr were dressed? Think of that when you get upset about something minor from Babcock

I didn’t pick up ice hockey until my early 30s. It was a little odd learning to play at that age but it is a freaking blast. Going on six or seven years now and I’m still playing twice a week.

The gear and league fees are a little pricy but god damn is it worth it.

skate leisurely.

i once went 7 years between games, and kind of picked up the tempo where i left off.
next day, i not only thought i would never skate again, i wasn't confident i would ever walk again properly.

That would have been great advice! I am not too sore yet but I've pretty much been coughing since the game ended. But I got a assist early and a goal late to seal a 4-2 win and I didn't throw up even though we only had 7 skaters. That's a successful start I think

No offense to Stevie Y, he drafted like a champ but I hate the fact he left just as the team is heading for cap hell and he gutted them of picks.

I mean, it's not like he left them in last place. Where TB is at the moment is one of those "good problems" for GM's to have.

Plus TB has all future picks except for this year's 2nd and 5th rounders? And their prospect cupboard is still pretty rich.
