Been so focused on the East, I had to look up the CAL-COL series. Hmmm.

In the last 30 years (excluding the '89 Cup win), the Flames have been to the second round of the playoffs twice. I mean, that's pretty bad.

I sure as hell am not going to say anything. If it weren't for the Sens, my team couldn't even make that claim.

Doug Gilmour be like "WTF?!?!?"

They've been to the second round 3 times without going through Ottawa, no? '93, '94 and '02.

99 as well, beat the Flyers (sans Lindros who was 2 weeks removed from almost dying in Nashville thanks to the shitty Philly doctors).

Fuck Dwayne Roloson.

Slightly off topic. My brother in Kamloops swears I sound "Southern". I have no idea what he is talking about. But I do say y'all on a regular basis. And the locals mock me for saying "hoose" and "aboot".

When I was working down in Atlanta, I got the same grief from the locals regarding "aboot". One guy thought I was from North Dakota. I told him to go northwest a bit lol

I found that I lost the "aboot" pretty quickly. And then you call someone back in Canada and you can't help but hear/notice it.

I'm more just testing my own and remembering the good ol' days.

I was a kid for most of those series so it's always fun to remember those quality first round performances before the flashes of losing repeatedly to fucking Jersey start creeping up.
