Yep, while at it just let every team make the playoffs and deem the regular season useless.

I can see Pierre's point. What's worse is that both Colorado and Columbus wouldn't have made the playoffs if the playoffs were a straight 1 vs. 4 divisional format.

Why would you add more teams to the playoffs. Right now 16 teams make the playoffs and (when Seattle joins) 16 teams go golfing early. That is split perfectly in half, each playoff round knocks off half the teams left.

I would say it is perfect as is. Stop trying to change things that work.

Yeah it is pretty silly to add more. 16 teams is way more than enough in the soon to be 32 team league.
Finally I am with you the old format I like better but what we have now is a perfect mix of division and making sure the bottom teams are the right teams.
