Jackets had like 18 in the second against them Sat Night.

Crawford might want to go back into the dark room for a while.

From a couple months ago but relevant.

And only one of them I'd remotely want on my team. But not at the money he is making.

(the one we should have drafted except that Doug MacLean didn't think his training regimen was good enough so he chose Gilbert Brule. AFTER laughing at the Habs for taking "the goalie". Carey Price.)

I suspect that you could find room for Drew Doughty too, especially if we're talking about "not at the money he is making" as an option.

I respect Doughty's skills, but he's just a bit of a twat.

We've already had a skilled twat from that list.

Why's Doughty a twat? And even if he is, the guy averages a Norris nomination every two seasons.

I know you're spoiled for choice on defence in Columbus these days but come on lol

He whines like a baby every time he gets caught for a penalty. Nothing is ever his fault. Plus he has a tendency to dive like he's a member of the mid-90's Avalanche.

He's a supremely talented twat, but a twat nonetheless.

Meh. That stuff doesn't bother me as much I guess. Everyone does it to some degree.

Would have been the topper of that weekend basketbrawl if doughy got popped in the mouth as he was mouthing off in the tunnel lol

Hey now, lemme tell you about Drew Doughty, good Canadian kid from London, Ontario, he's a gamer, he's got the face of a hockey player, look at all those missing teeth, no pretty boy here, no sirreee bob.

Tootoo retires after 13 years. Wasn't a player I liked and he did some seriously questionable things, but I have to applaud him for 13 years coming from the adversity he endured.

I hope he enjoys retirement and I congratulate him on a fine NHL career. He certainly played on the edge and occasionally crossed it, that's for sure. I'm just glad we no longer have to hear those damn train whistles in Nashville :D

Random thought but the Devils have to be incredibly disappointed with how Pavel Zacha's turned out.

Especially given how successful so much of that top 10 from 2015 have been thus far (save Strome, who AZ also likely are rather disappointed in), that's gotta suck. A Hall-Hischier-Rantanen line right now would be one of the league's best.

Is Landeskog - MacKinnon - Rantanen the best line in hockey?

Federal government rebates to Ontarians will outweigh costs from carbon tax, official says | The Star

The new payouts, called “climate action incentives,” will grow to $718 for a four-person household in 2022, as the carbon tax increases and the government expects average annual costs for a family of four to hit $564, the official said.

The official, who spoke to the Star on background ahead of Trudeau’s Tuesday announcement, said the payout cheques will account for 90 per cent of the revenue from the federal tax. The other 10 per cent will go to sustainability initiatives, retrofitting projects and green infrastructure initiatives, the official said.

What is the fucking point of this lol
