Actually, the next step is to make advances over social media and get your ass canned by Puck Daddy:

Sports blogger fired for sexual advances over Twitter

That one reads as a joke, but I don't have the context.

However, he did it to many women, and this one is worse:

Come on bro, leave colleagues alone.

I agree. I also think that if it was damning, she would have bothered to provide said context.

That being said, as you said there seem to be enough other examples out there to can him for his actions.

he got fired for this? puckdaddy must have more than whats out there in the public sphere ... all i have seen out there is 3 direct messages to 3 separate female "hockey twitter" personalities ... yes it sounds like a persistent pattern of behaviour to any and every female he could think of ... but it looked like the shotgun pickup approach ... once he got shotdown (regularly) it was a dead issue :noidea:

is it harrassment to send out 1 direct message that equates to a horrible pickup line/game

I may not be up to speed on everything he did ... if i missed more than what ive seen let me know

and im not defending him ... he is a mess of a person ... this obviously has something to do with his recent divorce

the "ladies" that came out with these direct messages after the fact seem like real pieces of work too

I wondered the same thing jstew. He's a real arrogant sob on twitter but these don't seem fireable. There must be more

jstew, it appears this has been brewing for quite some time and Puck Daddy finally decided to pull the plug (the following snagged from another board):

I think the lesson to take here is that if your Twitter account is closely tied to your profession, you should act the same way on Twitter as you would act face-to-face with your boss.

/Now if only I could find out where DerringerEagle is employed.

I agree, except that I would expand it to if your Twitter Account is tied to you as a human, you should act on Twitter the same way you'd act with your grandmother in the room.

As for the second part... That's likely very possible.

my obvious takeaway from Mooney and the past couple of days ... nothing is private

and what's most importantly (if i may use a Kanye West turn of phrase) ... twitter should be commended/applauded for calling them "direct messages" and not "private messages"

tsnscottcullen: RT @draglikepull: Well I guess we can cross the Flyers off the list of teams that may have hired Eric T. based on that Rinaldo contract.

Oooh...burn.

Bed, Bath, and Beyond? Rooms to Go?

I ran into Randy Carlyle at Bed Bath and Beyond on Easter Sunday about 6 months before the Ducks sacked him (don't judge, I had a gift card from a wedding that needed to be spent)

I don't understand why they don't advertise at more hockey games, seems like a natural fit.
