Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
DET has granted Mike Babcock permission to talk to other NHL teams. Window open til late May. Doesn't mean Babcock leaving DET, window open.

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
That window opens at 12 noon ET today. So Babcock will gauge interest and then make a decision on his future.

Wow.

At least he wont end up in EDM. There is not enough comp left after the Oil settle with BOS over Chiapet

Chicago's up 3-0, is it just me or are they looking like the team to beat right now?
They got the experience, hot tender, and super stars. I see them as the favorite right now. I think it comes down to them and the Ducks and the winner takes it all. :2cents:

I think Vancouver and Ottawa were the other front-runners for O'Connor. I think I heard he will announce his decision today.

Rags too

Theres a bit of a log jam in ottawa. The "king" has 5 more years with the rags but oconnor likes allaire

Miller on his way out in 2 if not sooner. Markstrom sounds disillusioned with canucks and might go back to europe if he doesnt get traded. That opens up the ahl spot that oconnor has publically said he wants

Went to canucks rookie dev camp last summer. Likes MOLEansen

Alright, who's the odd man out? Lehner, Hammond, or Anderson?

I would LOVE Lehner backing up Bob.

I think it would be Lehner

Craig Anderson just signed an extension and I think Andrew Hammond will be back, he at least deserves to come back after what he did for them - even as a backup - goaltenders won't net you a ton in return for a trade so Sens fans better not get their hopes up for Robin Lehner and getting a lot in return, but he his young so they should get something good enough for him

The Canucks will need a goalie to back up Eddie Lack once they trade Ryan Miller to San Jose. I can see a beefy goaltending tandem of Eddie 'Mama Mia Swedish Meatballs' Lack and the Hamburglar.

You shut your whore mouth. We're looking to ship aging players out of San Jose not bring them in. We should only be interested in young playoff failures.

Speaking of the Sharks, sounds like they'll be playing at the SAP Center for at least another 10 years.
