Matt Dumba is the final cut - Wow, very surprised that Wotherspoon survived today (especailly after the way Corrado played at camp).

Tyler Wotherspoon is the one Flames prospect on Team Canada and the Flames could have three prospects on Team USA. The only bad thing is getting up/staying up at 1am to watch.

GWG in the OHL vs. Russians game, the only player (let alone defenseman) to score twice in the CIS games.

I assume that was a joint annoucement/standing ovation as Jonathan Drouin is also a Moosehead and also just 17. A lot of hype has been shifting from MacKinnon to Drouin. Some are starting to think he will go higher in the draft than MacKinnon and/or had a better chance of making this team.

Did I see at the end of the article that RNH has been named captain? Kind of a snub to some of the returning guys (Huberdeau, Scheifele, Hamilton) in my opinion.

Looks like the Oilers flip-flopped:

Just one more reason the guy shouldn't have the 'C'.

Apparently Dave Tallon said Huberdeau will be on a plane to Florida if the lockout ends anytime soon. I assume there is a cutoff date (like the day the team leaves for Russia) where they would just allow them to play the tournament.
