I'm not so sure either way about that. Aside from RNH, it wouldn't shock me if a few were left to play in the tournament and then join their NHL teams afterwards. It's quite the jump from regular CHL to NHL. WHJC could be a nice transition step for them. It would also give them an extra look at them playing against the best from their age group.

I think Corrado may just have played himself onto the team (maybe at the expense of Ryan Murphy) - Look for the first cuts to be announced in the next 10 minutes or so.

Hockey Canada has begun the process of cutting down its World Junior selection camp roster as Adam Pelech and Tyler Graovac were released from the squad on Wednesday in the first round of cuts.

Can't say I'm surprised about Pelech, his foot speed was going to be exposed on the big ice in Ufa.

fantastic. hes played very well. should be a good bronze medal team with that goal tending. WTF has happened to our goaltending. I was hoping Subban would stand tall. I know these are not the games that show it all but it didnt inspire me with alot of confidence.

I wonder if home cookin' (Ryan Murphy's coach in the OHL is Steve Spott) will get him on the team. He's not exactly a big guy and this team shouldn't have trouble scoring (although they sure didn't light the lamp in Calgary the last couple of days).

The biggest fear that I've read is that he takes too many chances on offense at the expense of his defensive play.
