Ryan Nugent-Hopkins's agent has announced RNH has made the decision to attend the World Junior Camp in CGY
sweet
I suppose I can cheer for RNH for a couple of weeks
How big of an upset would it be if Canada didn't win Gold? I know the Russians will have a good team, but Sweden won't have their best player & I really don't know what to expect from the USA.
I think it would be a pretty big upset.
Russia is strong, Sweden is stronger, USA has a couple extra good players,
But Team Canada is freakin stacked! (goaltending good, not great)
I expect them to roll over this tourney if the lockout is in place.
Canada has so much depth at every position.
I wonder what kind of ratings TSN would get if they decided to broadcast the Team Canada Red-White game live tonight from Calgary?
Lines for CAN RED: Huberdeau-RNH-Scheifele/Drouin-MacKinnon-Lipon/Camara-Danault-Wilson/Beauvillier.
Lines for CAN WHITE: Hudon-Strome-Ritchie/Catenacci-Jenner-Rattie/Monahan-Graovac-McNeill/Shinkaruk.
Pairings for CAN RED: Rielly-Hamilton/Reinhart-Dumba/Wotherspoon-Corrado
For CAN WHITE: Harrington-Ouellet/Pelech-Murphy/Pouliot/Sproul.
even if we pick those lines without the camp.... holy crap that's strong.
Can you say LOADED!! That lineup is SICK. I don't expect Pelech to make it. It's great to see him getting this experience. Reinhart & Dumba is a solid pairing. I actually think Reinhart would be great to pair with any of the puck rushing offensive minded Defenseman on Team Canada. He's got a good slapper too.
yeah, i picked that d-combo because I think Murphy is the only lock of those unbolded pairings.
Pelech's footspeed might be vulnerable on big ice.
there's not a lot of wrong answers in that group of d-men.
Habs will recall Galchenyuk if/when lockout ends even if before/during #2013WJC, says Bergevin
Bergevin = good Canadian
