lol at people thinking this is a troll thread. 3 pages and i haven't seen a whole lot to counter what i've posted. while it is true the polls used in the bcs didn't rank ohio state, it isn't that much of a stretch to think the rankings in those polls and computers would resemble the ratings that did rank them (behind alabama). and lol at people thinking ohio state was arbitrarily being held back in the ap because they weren't eligible. they were still ranked very highly. do you think people just dropped them from 1 to 5 because they weren't bcs eligible, even though the ap has nothing to do with the bcs? if anything, one could argue ap voters were ranking ohio state higher than they otherwise would in hopes to create a "split" national title.
