I've got to say, I think the Cowboys have done a fantastic job. None of the guys they have added are stars, but they have freed up the Cowboys to take the best player available in the draft, regardless of position

I have to agree. They took there time and seems to have added nice peices at low cost.

And while no one is in Smith's league, it protects us against a Smith injury as much as possible.
I'd probably just have Dak call the run plays at the line, point to where we are running it and say 'try and stop us'.

But, defense could use that pick too so a tough call for me if he's there and a guy like Vea or R Smith are too.
I go Vea because I think he has a bigger impact on the game. 4 out of 5 studs are enough on the OL as long as you get C+ play out of number 5.

Interesting, since that is basically the kind of offense JG has been playing these past several years.

I would love to have the kind of offense that can play that way. The only problem is that the current salary cap approach is intended to keep those kinds of teams from being formed.

We'll see, I guess.

I like what we are doing in FA so far. Marcus,Martin and Fleming would upgrade depth. We are now setting the stage to get a real good player without reaching. Mcglinchey being toss ed around as a name and I like it. Letting Cooper sign elsewhere was a good move

They won't. Who is the last guy that had that happen?
Garrett plays the guys that he (and coaches) wants to play not the ones making the most. They may not be the ones we think should play and may not be the ones that seem obvious, but it is NOT because of salary
