The Cowboys found a wide receiver Friday, after looking at some big targets.

According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, Allen Hurnssaid he was going to sign with Dallas.

The Cowboys made an effort on Sammy Watkinsearly this offseason, which did nothing to quell the speculation about Dez Bryant‘s future there.

Hurns caught just 39 passes last year for the Jaguars, who let him go in a cap move after signing Marqise Lee and Donte Moncrief. But Hurns has been productive, with 64 catches for 1,031 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2015.

Hurns is a decent WR but has had multiple concussions.

Jordan Matthews would be a better addition.

Wow, thus tells me somebody gets cut
That certainly becomes the $64,000 question. Could be why they never talked to Dez about a pay cut or maybe they saw a top to bottom need and decided to overhaul before the draft and try to keep everyone?

Whispers should come out soon methinks.

He has better hands than Hurns.
The middle of the field in between the hash marks is too crowded as is. That is a huge part of the with the Cowboy passing game. We need talent on the outside. I don't love Hurns but he is better for this team than Matthews IMO. Very interested to see the $'s.

Darn good addition. Hearns is so much better than Matthews, who hasn't done near what Hearns has done in the NFL. Just another stupid statement by attention seeking clueless posters.

I also think Dez stays with the two new additions and we just got a whole lot better at the wide receiver position.

now add Fleming at RT and go into the draft looking at filling Defensive needs

If we keep Dez the depth chart has been completely overhauled. Just like CB and OL before that. Seems to kind of be this teams strategy. If we are set at WR (at least for 2018) we can go after OL and defense big time

I could dance to that tune.
Just not sure I start him. Might be of the mindset to keep Collins at tackle, make Fleming a swing tackle and draft a guard in round 3 that pushes to start. We don't need 5 All Pro's on the oline, but we do need depth to guard against injury. Smith seems more like 12 game seasons and we sure need someone behind him to keep Dak upright.

That Atlanta game last season remains the more ugly Cowboy game I've seen in years

i could live with Hernandez at 19 but Evans at MLB makes sense too

Hernandez would be better later in round 1 with an additional 2 or 3. Not sure I'd draft Texas El Paso at 19.
A solid player should be good enough playing beside Smith and Fredrick.

Would be very unusual to get the top Tackle at 19, but what about McGlinchey. Looking at 5 QBs and a bunch of defenders and his OL teammate gong before we pick. Maybe he drops? Stranger things...
