I understood the logic of the Yankee waive / Blue Jay claim. That made sense.

What is the logic of the Blue Jays waive? This is REALLY odd. I do not remember seeing a guy have this much action in a single off-season.

He may end up being the first player to spend time with all 30 MLB orgs in one calendar month...

I still wouldn't mind having a RHH Platoon partner for Blanco, but it's nice to have Towers back just because he can backup CF too in a pinch if Pagan needs a break. Glad to have him back. Now go give a camp invite to Boesch.

Guys, we're just going to have to retire the phrases "may be a bit much" and "that's way too much" and so on...

We're in a new era of TV money gushers, and the price of everyone in the game is going higher. $10 mil is the new $8 mil. It is what it is.

Maybe a bit, but it also says they know they need to keep at it to stay with the Dodgers. Maybe Peggs or Kieschnick will play out over time but we can't wait for them to develop while we have our window.

Better than the 2M or so it would take for Riot. Seems low risk, moderate reward to me.
