Madison Keyes gets a break in the second set after being down a set. Way to go, girl. She is serving for the set.

I think Azarenka has a real shot, no matter how well Serena plays. Great game plan coming into today's match. Sasha has gotten her serve better, and she's looking as fit as she was a few years back when she was winning her aussie opens.

Serena gets the break but I think she did a hindrance by grunting past the return of the opponent. The umpire should have called it.

winning isn't a great indicator, so that makes 3 major titles in a row, 1 match lost all year, and a 5,000 point lead over the #2 player in the world all pretty meaningless.

okay, lol.

2nd week of a major brings out a lot of fun commentary.

Come on Cez, you know what I mean. She has ALWAYS been that much better than everyone else but she used to put her foot on peoples necks and squeeze. She doesnt do that anymore, at least not at the level she used to. We are arguing over little tiny things. At the end of the day Serena is going to beat people if she just plays OK because her OK is still better than everyone elses great.

on a match by match basis, she's lost 1 match all year, and won both major titles so far this year.

she's also the dominant #1 player in the world with almost double the points of #2....a 5,000 point lead.

She just needs a bit of warm up. Sort of like foreplay. Once her dander is up she is dominant.

Bryan Bothers starting up.

Harrison and Tiafoe are playing in a challenger. The US men are disappearing.

Even the Bryan Bothers lost. Harrison beat Kozlov in the challenger. Tiafoe plays later.

As the match progressed between Serena and Vika the grunts became locomotive noise for both of them to the extent that Serena should have been called for hindrance when she extended grunt into a higher decibel before and as Vika was about to hit a return.

Yet when asked about the grunts and the noise during the match, Vika seemed visibly upset. Listen to the interview here:
2015 Wimbledon -- Victoria Azarenka calls issues over grunting 'ridiculous stuff'

"I'm so tired of these questions all the time," said Azarenka, a former top-ranked player from Belarus. "It's so, in a way, annoying because guys grunt. I was practicing next to [Rafael] Nadal and he grunts louder than me."

One may disagree with the decibel level between Vika and Nadal but she has a point.

"Look at the good stuff. Stop bringing this ridiculous stuff," Azarenka went on. "Let's put aside the noise and how she looks, and look at the game. The game proved itself today."

According to the ESPN report as the grunt grew on both sides the crowd started laughing ( I personally did not hear that)thus showing disrespect to both players. Leave it to the media co create controversy. Serena would not have any of that.

"I'm done with controversy," Williams said, raising her hand in the air. "I can't. I'm tired. I have to do ice bath. If you have any other questions, I'm cool, but I'm done with that."

Now, I would like to see what the media reaction would be after Serena and Sharapova scream it out in the semis.
