Id like Ryan, but would just prefer going after the 6th and snagging Dumba or Reinhart. But still want Yandle more than that. Dont know why he is on the block, him with OEL and Gormley in a few years would be disgusting

yandle is a good option no doubt.. every time we've played the yotes the past two years he's terrified me.. get him on a team that goes full throttle like the flyers, yikes.. yandle works for me (any word on if the flyers are actually interested?)

Big name player available? Flyers have to be one of the leading teams. :p

I havent really seen any team named, but it would be very hard to believe we are not.

What's the difference between the Flyers and the Yankees?

hey man, at least the flyers have to take risks and trade people.. the yankees just make it rain and good players appear

/if this is a, at least the yankees win, joke, well then screw you, and any one else who thought this. :tsk:

It was directed at the aggression in free agency, sir. Some teams build from within, some make the trades to pull it together.

I heard Don Maloney say in an interview that he feels the Yotes biggest need is a big talented Center.

Hey Pittsburgh Yandle for Staal would help both teams. It would also be a big Fuck You to Staal for turning down that big contract offer.:D:

I wouldn't mind a deal centered around those two players, but for it to work, I think more players would need to be involved.

Yandle makes 1 million more than Staal & has 4 years left on his deal. Yeah the Pens would have to add because the chances of Staal resigning in Ponicks are zero. However a pairing of Yandle & Letang would be lethal.

I would look for the Penguins to try to shed a little extra salary in the deal, while somehow sweetening the pot for Phoenix at the same time as a result. That's why I think more players need to be involved.

Honestly I think the Yotes would be crazy to trade Yandle, especially for a rental who won't resign.

JvR is like the Philly Martin, isn't he? Had a great year last year, rough one this season, and somehow magically comes with great return. WHY THE HECK WOULD CBUS MAKE THAT TRADE? I don't think some people stop and think about these things. Also, I honestly think CBus would need to be blown away by a Philly deal. I imagine they're not the happiest about the Carter trade.

JVR is is the Philly Martin, but that oddly makes him not as bad as Martin. Ultimately, the two were each about as good as empty space this year; the difference is that it's a lot harder to make up for missing a D than it is a forward.

I would love a JVR + 2nd for Yandle. JVR+1st is okay too I guess, but I think we'd overpay just a bit.

Too bad we don't have a second.
