Murray can probably be had for relatively cheap. May not be the fleetest of foot anymore (or ever) but he still hits like a Mack truck.

It doesn't matter. It's already been reported by Staple that JayBo's contract won't work for the Isles.

Murray has 1 year left at 2.5M. Hjalmarsson has two years left at 3.5m per. Those are workable contracts for the Isles.

Like I said only in a last resort situation would I trade for Ballard. His contract & injury issues bother me. Streit is an UFA at the end of next year. Both Donovan & De Haan have a good chance at making the team this year.

I think he's said it would be a dream to play for the Canucks.... but the Nucks won't be anywhere near the highest bidder. I'm sure Garrison is saying that to everyone right now though to build up his market.
besides, we need to keep room for Tanev and Schultz (and maybe Gardiner )
