Only ones that were planning on him playing this year were his fans and the media. If he makes it back ... that's an unexpected bonus. He's got all year to get ready. It's the post season he's really needed for.

Windingmywatch just asked me the other day what made me think Colby was coming back soon when his fastball topped out at 87mph...Yeah I got bit over enthusiastic about his return sooner rather than later. Now I see there may be more to his velocity issues

Remember his surgery was for flexor tendon surgery not Tommy John, so he has all the issues of Tommy John surgery patients with none of the added velocity that many get from the surgery

Okay ... make me smart. What is there about MLB package that makes sense if you are getting DTV w/FSSW (and TXA21 for Fri night games)?
We sometimes can't get Sat games broadcast by KDFW Fox4 which blacks out FSSW coverage ... but MLB doesn't help there either.
So unless I go travel to Cape Cod for vacation (i.e. outside the TEX market) what good is MLB network?

"worst trade of the decade" ... vs century but agree with you the parallel in looking at potential Profar trade is a stretch.
Objective of the trade was to get TEX back to the WS and whether the trade played a part or not is irrelevant.
