I guess they haven't the had five minutes segments produced on every athlete in soft, fuzzy focus that shows all the adversity they've overcome like that one time they had a hangnail all finished and they had to fill.

seriously. i was very irritated last night. they showed like 3 runs of each event and category, and then spent the rest of the time with filler crap. why not show all of the runs at each event? i would've watched? i dont care that the belrussian's figure skating attempt was a shit show, still better than watching a dude with eye herpes preach about politics and jay leno.

There is some speculation that the German 'rainbow' outfits are a shot at Russia/Putin for their anti-gay stance. Germany is denying it, but there is no denying that there is some history between these two countries.

I'll just drop this here I guess - Dreger says this is the last Olympics that the NHL will allow its players to compete in. I think this announcement could have waited until after the Sochi Games were over (poor form by Dreger in my opinion).
