No problem. I heard "Pudge doesn't make HOF" and I got triggered.
Makes perfect sense to me. ha ha
Seriously though, this type of "voting" doesn't get me jazzed nearly as much as it once did.

Maybe ESPN can be a "trend setter" on all of the voters being held accountable.......That's my only hope. ha
That's about the only worthwhile thing those boneheads could bring to the table. If Tim freakin' Raines is a HOF, then Pudge Rodriguez should have been unanimous.
Pudge has to be a first ballot HOF'er if ever there was one. Can not imagine what more one could do to qualify than Pudge. Not because he was a Ranger but on his own merits no matter where he played.
Greatest defensive catcher who ever lived, played the most games at catcher... add the fact that he could hit, and you have an easy HOF lock. Obviously I'm biased, but those merits are statistically based.
This.... How much better as a catcher was Pudge than Jeter as a SS. No offense to Jeter, but not even close IMOIf Pudge had played for the Yankees he would easily go in on the first ballot. I tend to think even Michael Young would be a hall of famer eventually if he had played for the Yankees. Not that I actually think Young deserves it though.
