just curious how many of these 1st day big splash signings ever end up really working out. i don't really have a great perspective because the one big signing the wings ever made on day 1 (that i remember) since the lockout is hossa. that was a great regular season move, but in the end didn't provide the results we expected.

it seems like some of the signings so far today have been pretty solid moves, not the usual high profile, wtf were they thinking type moves...
