Look at both Dixon and Gate's left foot at the FT line. Both of them have their left foot about a foot behind the right. It causes the body to be off-center from the rim. When one foot is behind the other, your body naturally angles itself in the direction of the foot that is further back. This causes you to shoot FT's from an angle instead of head-on. It's idiotic that no one on the coaching staff has made this adjustment for them.
Dixon has come a long way, but the bottom line is...he's simply not a good bball player. He'll have flashes because he's athletic and such, but in terms of overall basketball ceiling....he's peaked. he is what he is...average.
Can't wait to get some of these other guys on the floor with some more experience and better shooting...Guyn, Davis, and eventually Shaq (next year) will add a lot more to this 4-guard.
I'll give Dixon credit for working hard to get the most out of what natural talent he has...but, unfortunately for him, it's always going to be a struggle...and that's been evident all year long.
