Look at both Dixon and Gate's left foot at the FT line. Both of them have their left foot about a foot behind the right. It causes the body to be off-center from the rim. When one foot is behind the other, your body naturally angles itself in the direction of the foot that is further back. This causes you to shoot FT's from an angle instead of head-on. It's idiotic that no one on the coaching staff has made this adjustment for them.

Dixon has come a long way, but the bottom line is...he's simply not a good bball player. He'll have flashes because he's athletic and such, but in terms of overall basketball ceiling....he's peaked. he is what he is...average.

Can't wait to get some of these other guys on the floor with some more experience and better shooting...Guyn, Davis, and eventually Shaq (next year) will add a lot more to this 4-guard.

I'll give Dixon credit for working hard to get the most out of what natural talent he has...but, unfortunately for him, it's always going to be a struggle...and that's been evident all year long.

I'm not exactly sure what you are getting at here.... I don't know a single person that shoots free throws with their feet 'even.'

Not completely even...but not an over-exagerated stagger, either. Their foot placement is inconsistent....thus, their shooting is inconsistent.

Hoard mentioned the same exact thing yesterday about Justin Jackson, and how his let foot is now much closer up towards the FT line than before.

Interesting. I hadn't noticed.... I attributed Dixon's inconsistent foul shooting to his general level of being inconsistent at everything.

What I really don't get is why we didn't try to inbound the ball to Cash? He is a much more clutch performer than Dixon.

Agreed. At the end of the game, Cash and Kilpatrick (even stone cold all game long) are my top two choices.

Dixon's a product of his own work. He works hard, but the lack of true talent is evident when he tries to finish around the rim. The guy either has a mental block, or is simply scared of his own shadow. In any case, I can appreciate how hard he works, but his overall BBall IQ is not very good. When he is playing the point...the offense regresses, a lot.

Dixon not talented? Hahahahahahah! Idiot.

Seriously. No, he's not Deonta. Yes, he's very good for a 2 guard in the BE. Averaging 13 a game or so is phenomenal. No, he won't play in the NBA. That doesn't mean the guy aint a baller. He'll finish his career in the top 25 in scoring in the history of the entire university.

I'm seeing double...and I see a double digit UC win tommorrow. We're extremely underrated. Criminally underrated.

Wouldn't be our style....we'll win it, but it will be a cliff hanger, no matter who we end up playing......

We already beat both LOU and ND. We're underrated. It's typical, though.

I think we beat either Louisville or ND.... But I think our chances are better against ND - Bunch of stiffs on that team.
