I am sick and tired of hearing " Imagine having Carter and Murphy on the same line" IT WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED PERIOD!

Had the Hawks Drafted Carter then you Removed BOTH Witherspoon and Murphy. They WOULD NOT have drafted Murphy after Drafting Carter the Year before AND they wouldnt have Witherspoon. It's that simple in NO WORLD would the Hawks have both Carter and Murphy.


So the question is this are you going to cry about NOT having Carter and ONLY Carter ignore Murphy and Witherspoons promise? Sorry but I would MUCH RATHER have Murphy and Witherspoon over just Carter.

Fine, so be it... either way Seattle needed DL then, AND OL. There were far more important positions Seattle had holes at (so much that we had to surrender a 2nd rounder to PARTIALLY fix it) than another fuckin' DB.

You say there's no way we would've taken Murphy... you realize the defense Carroll was trying to run and Mac does want to run, right? Those DL shift all over.. we could've still taken Murphy (who at this point is a glorified nose tackle). Again, Reed is not getting younger, Williams is 31+ (and just signed his last 'big' contract)... these guys are towards the end of their career. Replenish the trenches while you have the picks.

I'm sorry but drafting WRs, TEs, DBs, etc. with top 5 ammo is just beyond retarded. A lot of top 5-10 WRs/DBs make it to a Super Bowl on the team they weren't drafted by.

At least we didn't fuck up Charles Cross (who should've been a pro bowler).

How about being 2nd on the team in tackles? 2nd on the team in SOLO tackles? 4th on the team in tackles for loss? 3rd on the team in Passes defensed? Tied for 2nd on the team in FF?

Witherspoon like it or not is a damn stud at 5 foot 9 as you like to bring up. BTW he is 6 foot tall.
