The DL should've gotten SBOWL MVP. Hurts, lmao... give me a break. Like Wilson (nearly identical stats), he did very little to win that SBOWL.

Yes. Line investment is key. We saw first hand yesterday what great line play can do.

Rams sure as fuck know how to do it. I swear, I've seen some folks on this forum saying draft first round QB, TE, DB, WR (to replace DK if gone).. Those are 100% plug and play positions if the OL/DL works right.

Behind a good OL? To some degree, yes. And if your DL can get to a QB and allow your LBs to drop or scheme with safeties, yes.

My point is, you don't need to find the next Pat Mahomes, Josh Allen, etc. If you do fine... Bears drafted Caleb Williams and behind that disaster of an OL/DL and offensive scheme, look how that went.

Think most of us want a good OL and DL. I know I do. However I get the feeling that some here really mean DT when they talk about the trenches. Our OL sucks but the DL IMO is above average yet they still talk about the DTs in the draft and keep bring up fucking Carter up over and over. Fuck Carter, we have Murray and Williams. We need to fix the OL. We just saw that even Mahomes can't operate with a sub par OL. It wasn't Carter reeking havoc on the Chiefs yesterday , it was the entire Eagles DL having a hayday.

Yah I know Harold. I do agree we need to fix the OL. but let's focus on that AND the DL. QB and TE (lol wut?) is the least of our needs.

The reason I keep bringing up Carter is it seems teams that win, win it in the trenches. The Rams just drafted 2 (basically) back to back. It gets annoying when we blew draft capital on runningbacks, a WR (1st round), a DB (top 5), etc. At least we drafted a franchise left tackle.

The DL is getting old, btw. Reed is what, 33? Hankins lol, Williams despite being snubbed will probably never duplicate that again... Jones is prob. gone.. who the fuck else do we have? Murphy? Not only did he not do much this last year, but he's a glorified nose tackle at this point. That's fine, but at least right now he's not a threat to anyone.

We just signed Williams last year and most everyone here cheered that, but a season later you suggest the Seahawks should draft his replacement? Reed and Hankins can be replaced without using round 1 or 2 picks. Not against improving the DL but right now OL is the bigger concern and it's not even close when listing priorities.

Loved the Williams signing, 100% deserved.

And yes, draft his replacement. Williams is getting older.. limit his snaps, continue to build a rotation and figure out a move that gets younger at the position. Williams turned out to be a great signing, in hindsight I still love it! But he's not 25. Not sure where you're going here, Harold. Keep building the trenches.

I'll agree Hankins can be replaced with later picks. Reed, not so sure. Either way, this organization has yet to see it. Sad to say but the next dominant DL seems to be the Rams, and they went 1 & 2.

It's definitely not fixed but it's tolerable right now imo compared to the shit storm were dealing with on our OL... I know we don't want to be content with our DL but I feel like that's honestly one of our strengths as a team right now along with our RB room.... That's not saying much with the shape we're in at LB, OL, TE

I get why they went CB and passed on Carter plus at that time Carter had red flags. Going back yes Carter would have been the pick and then getting Murphy on top of that solidifying the d-line.

Yes I shit on the Rams but they do know how to put together lines on both side of the ball and it's frustrating JS didn't want to put much stock into the o-line.

TE/WR in the first round is a big no at this moment. CB is a maybe if all first round graded o-line guys are gone. Too far back to draft a QB.

My offseason wish list

1. Get the top FA o-line guy
2. Add another above average o-line guy
3. 1st round pick on o-line
4. 2nd round pick on D-line
5. 3rd rounder get a QB or WR

#3 and #4 can be reversed if all day 1 o-line guys are off the board

Had the Hawks Drafted Carter then you Removed BOTH Witherspoon and Murphy. They WOULD NOT have drafted Murphy after Drafting Carter the Year before AND they wouldnt have Witherspoon. It's that simple in NO WORLD would the Hawks have both Carter and Murphy.


So the question is this are you going to cry about NOT having Carter and ONLY Carter ignore Murphy and Witherspoons promise? Sorry but I would MUCH RATHER have Murphy and Witherspoon over just Carter.
