Jaxson Dart, the QB i wanted in the middle rounds is now being talked about as a possible top 10 pick. Guess i saw something even before all the talking heads lol. this stinks to be honest he was the guy i wanted now i doubt he is there in the 3rd round. He might not even be there for our 1st round pick that i wouldn't have wanted to use on him anyway.

They are saying he is a better prospect than JJ McCarthy ever was. ( NOW )

The more 3rd rate Qbs drafted before we pick, the better

Who is saying that he is a better prospect than JJ McCarthy?

We are likely to see the QBs bounce up and down the board. It's entirely possible he's QB3 and goes in the first round. Also possible he goes in the 3rd. Senior Bowl and combine will make a big difference for him.

Its all over the NFL News just do a search as its not just one single source. It's sad because i wanted the Hawks to draft Dart in the 3rd round. He isnt worth a 1st or mid 2nd maybe late 2nd in my eyes but i DO believe he will be a good sit and learn QB that one day will be a + starter.

As for McCarthy vs Dart well we haven't seen either play in the NFL yet so meh. He does seem to have a better skill set and talent than JJ did though. I 100% think his rise is because of the QB's NOT going to the 2025 draft.

I saw some folks saying he might rise up into the first. Which may happen. Or it may just be news fodder because there is a dearth of QBs in this draft.

I'd be inclined to draft Dart in the 2nd round. I think he has the tools to be QB1 and actually push Geno in camp.
A couple mocks had the Rams drafting him 3rd round like where I would like to draft him but they know Stafford's window is closing and might have the thought of taking him in the 2nd round.

One of the reason's why a lot of QB's are busts in the 1st round...
Nobody was dumb enough to pick either of those guys round 1. There's definitely a narrative pushing milroe dart and even Howard into round one which all sounds ridiculous at this point

Maybe the Raiders now that they have Carroll? We all know Bowers will now be forced to block, so they need weapons lol.

Anyway, if that happens, that's a very early 2nd rounder... that would be acceptable.

Since Pete Carol didn’t mind trading away first rounders for players, maybe he’ll give us a first rounder for DK. Ha ha.

Wonder if with the hiring of Kubiak if Derek Carr would be a option if Geno is no longer on the team due to cap reasons. Carr looks to be a cap causality as the Saints can save 50 million out of 51 million if they release him.

Uh, Harold you might have those numbers reversed. If they release him they eat $50M dead cap, unless it's a post June release. They have a lot of void years to deal with.

He would be a better bridge QB than Geno, If he comes cheap. I just trust him to turn the ball over less than Geno. Dont trust him to play a full 17 games.

I mean we have a bit of a cap situation as well, but with what the Saints have assembled over the last few years, to be in that cap situation, WOOF. At least Seattle was still competing for a playoff spot, and if Mike had the right pieces on defense in place to start the season probably would've gone, lol.

The Saints ARE a team that IMO should be blowing it up and just taking it on the chin, lol. Even Kubiak got the hell out of there.

The Saints are the example of why I dislike void years. They've used the to the extreme in the past and it's been pretty ugly for them. 2026 already has 13 void seasons on the books for them.

Reports are milroe looked atrocious and dart underwhelmed

OL Gray zabel, never heard of him, from north Dakota state has been the best OL projects to guard
Also heard sea hawks people were very keyed in on the OL v DL reps
