TAG didn't take long to be full of it. Talked about Moreland playing LF tonite and how versatile he will be giving the OFers a break. Maybe so but i am not exited about that. Can't imagine too many slower outfielders. Ahh! Felt good to complain while watching the Rangers.

My boy, Michael Morse might have something to say about slowest OF.

Oh....please. Like he's not playing the same "immature" baseball he always has without being the "once immature" 20 year old. Runs around the base pads like a moose on meth, throws the ball to whatever base he wants, etc.

Wash has called him out, specifically and recently. But Jesus - but we all know how full-of-shit he is - so I guess I'm not on board with ya on this guy at all.

Your tone totally changed when you read about something he did 4 years ago

Other than the mistake pitch for the homer, Kirkman looked ok, seems like a couple pitches every inning he looks clueless still

True... but you also can't deny what he's been able to accomplish the last 1.5-2 years.. He has gotten significantly better in AA/AAA.

He has just unfortunately ran out of development time in the minors....

As Justin said ... "I just don't see Beltre as more than a 4th OF in the majors."

Sounds to me like he's on the Julio Borbon departure trajectory. When Borbon was DFA'd he had played in 216 ML games. Engle Beltre ... the last remnant of the Eric Gagne trade ... has 22.

How have our hitters looked? You know, aside from sorting only one run.

Choo and Fielder have looked good. Rios with an infield hit and stolen base.
I thought Perez looked ok. Threw a lot of pitches, thanks to Sandoval.

Soto has been pretty enthusiastic about his (perez) performance, doing an interview with him now, but I didn't start watching till the 4th

Choo walked and HR'd and Fielder hit a line drive double off the wall just right of straight away center that with an height would have been a HR. Rios had an infield single that crawford got to in the hole and he beat the throw and then stole 2nd. Have been in and out so thats what I've seen so far.
