Official 2014 Phillies Buy At The Trade Deadline Thread

Phils won a game today! How about that!! We just need to acquire a couple of veterans by the deadline and we should be good to go! We should hold on to our core (jroll, howard, utley) and I know d. brown wants to go home to Texas, but we should keep him until the off season. He is more of a punch and Judy type hitter now but getting his singles back to back with revere at the bottom of the order could maybe help score a run.

Apparently the O's are talking to the Phillies about the possibility of Burnett's availability.
