Now seems like another good time to update the standings, as the Pirates are in sole possession of first place in the NL Central, and we're just three wins away from a winning season. Tonight's victory eliminates Illinest from the competition. The Pirates' 79-53 record is good for a .585 winning percentage, and puts them on pace for a record just shy of 95-67, which means steelparrot remains our favorite to win, but still five wins above his prediction.

You know the is the one year I am glad I predicted wrong vs the '09 season when all of us that predicted 63-99....lost since they didn't play a game and won 62.
