Indians placed RHP Mike Clevinger on the restricted list.
Zach Plesac has also been placed on the restricted list for violating health and safety protocols by going out this past weekend in Chicago. It was originally believed that Plesac was the only member of the Indians involved, but it was revealed on Monday that Clevinger went out with him as well. Clevinger was scratched from Tuesday's scheduled start and will be quarantined for 72 hours while being tested for COVID-19. Their behavior puts the Indians in a real bind.

Our bullpen is going to have a 162 game workload at this pace because

1. We have GM's who once again refuse to get ACTUAL starting pitching
2. A Manager that is a straight up coward in letting his guys go deep into games.

Winning teams have horses, they always have, they always will. Everyone talks about how the playoffs are "bullpen dominated" these days and its a complete farce. You have got to have at least 1 true ace if not 2. Starters have to eat some innings.

And if we are not going to hit like last year, we are even worse.

Nah an overreaction is when things are bad for a few games or even a year and you blow a lid.

Not a decade of the exact same issues. If anything, by only simply voiceing my displeausres I am underreacting. Its ridiculous.

well, we're under a completely different regime and only year 2 of Rocco and year 4 of thad levine.

Last year we won AL Central and are currently in 1st. We're in a slump, and shorten season could be killer if we don't right ship soon.


So yeah, overreacting

I would've liked to see them do more last off season in regards to SP as well.

I think the Royals might want to consider moving Nicky Lopez up significantly in the lineup if he keeps lighting it up like has the past couple weeks. Adds a left handed bat and adds some level of speed up there. Mondesi is in a deep slump so he's going to be stuck at the bottom of the lineup for a while, maybe the rest of the season because it's already mid-August.
