It's now being reported that Brady played the Super Bowl with a fully torn MCL and the team was aware. Everybody is lauding his heroic effort but isn't it against the rules to hide an injury?
Maybe they didn't hide it. They can say lower leg injury (Probable) and bam it's reported. It's now being reported that Brady played the Super Bowl with a fully torn MCL and the team was aware. Everybody is lauding his heroic effort but isn't it against the rules to hide an injury?

Maybe it's not considered an injury since Brady runs about a 5.4 40 and does a 5.45 on crutches?Good point though according to pro football talk Brady was not on the Buccaneers injury report all season and including the Super Bowl.
I know I probably come off as a bitter Pats fan but that just seems fucked up to me that nobody is talking about that.

The league will probably doc New England a couple first round picks for this.
If the Pats had won #7 and Brady was the QB, the league would be demanding Kraft's head on a plate.
This is the prefect opportunity for Kraft to drill Goodell an asshole as big as a fire hydrant. It will go nowhere.
At the very least Brady should be suspended for 6 games and the Bucs fined $25M and Arians should be suspended for a year. Anybody remember the "Bounty" bullshit and suspensions on the Saints??
Ain't payback a bitch??Rams a few years back in the NFCCG was as blatant as it gets. That said, I'm glad we got the Rams that SB and not the Saints.

Bitter seems a bit strong. Since the Pats have notably seen consequences for their actions, maybe "outraged" would be a better adjective?Guy's honestly there will be no fines, no suspensions just a few bitter Pats fans
And bears. You catch more flies with honey...
No bitter hits the nail right on the head. To many fans bitched up soon as TB left and acted as if it was all on him. Bitter is perfect IMPOBitter seems a bit strong. Since the Pats have notably seen consequences for their actions, maybe "outraged" would be a better adjective?
IMPO? In your pompous opinion? No bitter hits the nail right on the head. To many fans bitched up soon as TB left and acted as if it was all on him. Bitter is perfect IMPO
No jest there are a lot of bitter fans here that act as if the Pats didn't deserve what they got. Or that when some other team didn't get something they feel they should have. Absolutely bitter fans and some that live in denialIMPO? In your pompous opinion?
It's well established I agree with your perspective on Brady leaving. For the record I DO NOT think you are pompous, but labelling everyone who disagrees with your (our) opinion as bitter comes across that way, unless I'm misreading your jest.

There you goI'm not bitter at Brady at all. I honestly don't give a fuck about him and felt it was time for him to go. I'm bitter with the NFL and it's lopsided mishandling of all things discipline regarding the Patriots.
- Jets film from the sideline = no discipline
- Patriots film from the sideline one year later = greatest cheating scandal in the history of sports with around the clock updates for a year straight.
- Minnesota Vikings tamper with football on the sidelines = no discipline but a warning from the NFL
- Patriots maybe possibly tampered with footballs(or maybe they didn't) = 2nd biggest cheating scandal in the history of sports with around the clock updates for two years straight.
As you know, I could go on.
Yes, I'm bitter that other teams are allowed to cheat with very little attention given to it as if it's only a big deal when the Patriots maybe do it.
