I agree with Skinsdad. Rumor time. However its a 2 fold prediction, pass on QB at 3, trade a draft pick for a qb. They can state they were right if at least one of those rumors happens. They are throwing spaghetti on the wall right now

Adam just reinforced that they will not go crazy in free agency. He made a joke saying "you can get things off the dollar menu" Like he did at the podium earlier today he isn't giving any indication about who they are interested in.

For the record I am not in favor of spending all the money in FA either.

Just watched the peters press conference.
Thoughts I have.

1. He is very confident, but not arrogant. I love how he answers questions. He is warm, but to the point. He is not a politician per se, but he does have an agenda that he weaves into his answers.

2. He commands the room, but not in an overbearing way. He smiles a lot, states the persons name, and gives them an answer looking them in the eye.

3. Sorry for saying this, but the organization is in much better hands now.
Rivera was always nervous and seemed in over his head during these types of press conferences and mayhew seemed like he was an order taker and incompetent.

4. Peters is a good ambassador for the franchise. The script is being flipped and we will be known for having a data and relationship driven front office.

5. We were darn lucky to get this guy. He says the right things without the Zorn like stupid slogans.
He knows what he is doing and doesn't give bs like answers. Very excited for what is coming.
