Currently the Redskins have lets call it 37 players under contract and many of those you would just as soon let go ..... there are others under contract that might be practice squad players. Let's say based on needing 53 player you would need 16 more players. 9 drafted players (maybe) have to be added .... that leaves at least 7 more to be signed. Do your GM thing.
