Not sure what the value of Dotson is.
A day 3 pick seems low to me.

I dont think he would be worth a 1st or 2nd. Maybe a 3rd?

It all depends on what peters thinks, Quinn believes, and KK wants.

I was disappointed in year 2 play but I am not sure he should be on the trade block.

No reason to move off of Dotson for a day 2 pick who really should bounce back year 3

I'm ok with just picking at #2 or getting something for dropping to #3.
I was looking back when we traded down and picked Dotson, when despite any claims of reaching we could have had Olave, Hamilton, McDuffie(KC).
And of course in the 2nd we picked a DT over McBride, Pickens and Alec Pierce.

Also, I'm not knocking Forbes but at the time perhaps, Gonzales, Addison, Kincaid, Porter Jr and LaPorta would have been better fits.

The talent was there, the common sense was not

agreed, maybe not starter material but some depth. Assuming QB is the pick at #2, the first 2nd round pick will probably be oline.
