DraftKings Sportsbook currently has the Seahawks at +7000 to win, which is an implied odds of 1.41%.

The only six teams below the playoff-making Seahawks are the Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, and Houston Texans.

For anyone wondering, the Denver Broncos - whose fifth overall pick is owned by Seattle - have the 14th best odds to win next year’s Super Bowl.

Clearly, the perception is that a significant roster talent disparity won’t be made up in one offseason. Yes, Pete Carroll and Geno Smith wrestled their way into the playoffs, but the belief is that November is more indicative of the Seahawks true talent than the five-out-of-six stretch.

Not surprising really. We had one of the worst defenses in football and a QB who came out of nowhere at age 32 and performed well early but tailed off late in the season.

Of course these odds are complete nonsense. The Jets have the 10th best odds to win a Super Bowl. Rams are 15th. Giants are 17th.

Not surprised either... Our defense was absolutely pathetic... We can't rely on the offense to carry the team again this year...

One thing about betting odds we should keep in mind is that it's as much a prediction on betting behavior as it is on-field outcomes. You can have 2 identical rosters on Teams A & B, but the team called the "Packers" is going to have shorter odds than the one called "Browns."

Yeah at this time of year it's what have you done for me lately and a beauty pageant.

Popular teams always get a bonus.

I love Dissly... when he's on the field, but the guy just can't stay healthy... I think Fant/Parkinson are enough and maybe we get an older guy with limited snaps to play the 3rd... but I never liked that Dissly contract (I mean Harold if you can find something where I rated it a high grade last year please feel free to call me out).

Lockett is in no way getting cut this year... we're stuck with him unless you could find a trade partner willing to give not only draft capital but high draft value as well.

I think the offense outside of center and guard (or a drafted QB) is fairly set.

Dissly health has been a problem, probably should find a different line of work. Lockett isn't getting cut but I could see reworking his contract.

Center, Guard and QB are plenty to have to solve on the offensive side, but they may want an additional RB and a third WR obviously not as pressing as QB, center and guard.

Dissly had a rough first two seasons but has played 16,15,15 or 46 out of a possible 50 games the past 3 seasons so i wouldn't say he has a issue staying healthy now. I think it's like 90% of the league that misses 1 to 2 games a season so I would guess 90% of the league has health issues?

It's to bad that he has a weird knee issue something Pete has said he has never seen before. It's not like he is Jamal Adams or something who has played 25 out of a possible 50 games LMAO! I didn't hear you people talking about Adams inability to say healthy before this year. I really would like to know why they are keeping Disslys Knee issue so hidden from us. I want to know what it is? Is this a career ender? WTF is wrong with it!?!?! Is it the same knee he had surgery on his rookie season or is it the leg he tore is achilles on?

Well this is surprising considering the Saints cap situation.

If NO can make room, TB could make room for Geno.

Kicking the can down the road.
Here's the full list of teams who don't sign quality players knowing that there will be some dead cap money at some point:
