It's an 8-7 game...with only one out.

Callaway "the pitching guru" is really trying to eff this up.


Whew....Diaz finally gets the last 2 outs.

Mets hang on to win it 8-7...and get the series sweep.

NEW YORK -- The Mets and Blue Jays have reached an agreement that would send All-Star pitcher Marcus Stroman to New York, multiple sources said Sunday. A source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand that the Mets will be sending the Blue Jays pitching prospects Anthony Kay and Simeon Woods-Richardson, who are ranked fourth and sixth on the Mets' Top 30 Prospects list, per MLB Pipeline.

Neither club has announced that a deal, which is pending medical reviews, is in place.

I don't love how freely Brodie gives up our prospects. As a stand alone deal it doesn't make a ton of sense, curious to see what follows this.

Probably & hopefully he can reload & stock up the farm by dealing Thor,Wheels, Diaz?...and a few others..maybe Vargas , Lagares +/or Ramos????

Revisiting this, I don't hate it. Kay is 24 so not young by any means and has struggled at AAA.

And as you stated I think we probably get some prospects back if we trade another starter.

This makes the most sense. Flip Wheeler, Vargas, Frazier etc to restock the farm, go at in 2020 with deGrom, Thor, Stroman and Matz.
