Thor nearly got out of a jam in the 6th but the Chisox scored a run w/ 2 outs on a Frazier E-5.

Mets lead 2-1 heading to the 7th.

Mets manager Mickey Callaway said he did not have an update, or know what the test results were on the left foot injury suffered 3 days ago by LF Dominic Smith against the Pirates on Friday. He went on the 10 day IL on Saturday.


Next:

Mets RHP Jacob deGrom (6-7, 2.86) is scheduled to start Wednesday against White Sox RHP Lucas Giolito (11-5). deGrom has a 17-inning scoreless streak. Giolito is 0-3 with a 7.06 ERA in his last four starts.
