Trainer's Room/Moves....

Mets RHP Stephen Nogosek (left oblique strain) was placed on the 15-day IL. Nogosek felt discomfort after tossing 1 ⅔ scoreless innings of relief in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Phillies.
C Tomás Nido, on the COVID-related IL since Aug. 15, could return on Thursday when the Mets open a four-game home series against Colorado.
3B Eduardo Escobar (strained left oblique) is on target to be back on Friday against the Rockies.
RHP Taijuan Walker (back spasms-bulging disc) could return to the mound as early as Tuesday against the Yankees.
P Sam Clay has been designated for assignment
C Patrick Mazeika has been claimed off waivers by the San Francisco Giants.

Watching WPIX right now, no rain, but Google projections say it will start to rain right around game time. Tonight's game will also be on MLB Network (with their own announcers supposedly), so I may switch back and forth. Won't be watching YES Network, that's for sure.

One thing I hope for is that Mets fans completely take over Yankee Stadium, that would be hilarious. There were plenty of us in Philly over the weekend.
