Well according to the reports I've read, Nimmo & Lowrie will be activated soon....which will definitely be a nice shot in the arm to boost the offense. The other hurdle we'll have to obviously navigate concerns the bullpen....and overall team health.

But yeah...we were in every game of that series...especially the opener & the finale. So to still be only 2 GB for that WC spot is a silver lining...but a few other teams below us have narrowed the gap... and every game will be crucial from here forward.

Stroman just gave up a leadoff double, then a 2 run HR in the top of the 5th.

Not liking this trend so far....and I hope I'm wrong, but...

We're definitely heading in the wrong direction, and we'll probably be buried a lot farther down and get leapfrogged by other teams below us in the WC standings by Labor Day at this rate.
