I wouldn't say he is the clear best player in this draft by a wide margin. His running style is not for everyone. I would also argue that Quenton Nelson is the best player entering this draft.

I agree but I think an argument can be made for Chubb as well... If Nelson isn't the best player in the draft he's surely the safest...

Cleveland taking Barkley in the top 20 goes against everything I know about Dorsey. I'm not even sure the 'Barkley at 4' rumor is true

I'm in the minority for sure but Josh Jackson is my favorite corner in the draft.

I like him as well but I like Ward as the top CB in this draft, I saw all 3 top CB’s play a lot. I like all of them, Jackson is just projected to far up mid-1st to late-1st. If he dropped to the #33 it would be a dream scenario

Seattle really needs corners with Sherman gone. I was gonna take Jackson in the first, but traded back.

I would have Chubb in the top-4 for this draft for sure. I think he and Nelson are the two safest picks in the entire draft. I had it best described to me with last year having Garrett in the draft. Garrett is the more athletic and higher ceiling of the two but Chubb will have more day 1 impact of the two. He is pro ready and a guy that shows incredible football intelligence on the field. I don't think he will ever be the top pass rusher in the league by any means but to pair him up with another great pass rusher would spell doom for an opposing QB.

I think the Giants might trade 2 with possibly the Bills trading up to that spot. So Barkley/Chubb/Nelson will all be there at 4

My strategy this draft will not get me many votes at the end as I am pretty much ignoring team needs... I am drafting for a rebuild and in hope for a HIGHER draft pick next season...

From what I understand the two sides are getting pretty darn close to making something happen. The Giants would like to see the Bills trade up to the 6 pick though then trade with them so they don't fall too far in the draft. Not sure they have the draft capital to make two trades like that though.

yea, the giants are what will make this draft interesting... wouldn't be surprised if they trade with a QB needed team...

To me the entire top-10 hinges on what the Giants do with the 2nd overall pick.

I wouldn't mind if they went Barkley at all. Browns seem very interested in getting Chubb so if he is there at 4 that means only 2 QB's have been drafted before the Broncos are up.

As for the Giants and the Eli situation. They have to make a choice...do they believe Eli can still be a championship caliber QB that just needs a couple more pieces around him or do they think they need to start looking for the future when there are potentially 4 franchise QB's in this draft? That is a tough decision to make.

I know at one point they were pretty high on Barkley but positional value just makes that a hard sell. He would day 1 be one of the highest paid RB's in the entire NFL.

Here's what's gonna happen.


Of the 4 top QBs, you will see 1 surprise (maybe a trade), and 1 guy fall. Surprise could be Mayfield or Lamar. Allen could fall. But the Browns have 2 of the top 4 picks so... Anything could and might happen.

Allen has a big arm but does he have any touch on passes 20 yards and under?

IMO, a pick of QB is saying they don't have confidence in competing this season... Which is fine...

But how do you treat Eli the way they did last season, and then make up with him like he is still THE TEAM, and then not see if he can bring you to the playoffs one more year??
