It was absurd. The Green Bay offense doesn't look quite so scary today but their defense is as good as I thought it was and much better than people have been giving them credit for.

After the packers were stopped on 3rd down, Suh and a packer lineman were on the ground wrestling. Suh shoved his head down into the ground a few times, then stood up and stomped on him.

Green Bay was driving but stopped on 3rd down. Suh was on the ground and in the process of getting up, he purposely stepped on a GB lineman. Not the worst play I've ever seen but with the profile Suh has and an officiating crew that throws a ton of flags, it was a dumb move. Also, GB already had a player ejected earlier so the table was set.

It ultimately cost the Lions a minimum of 4 points and possibly 7. Also, the center of their D is now weaker.

I wonder if Suh will get suspended for a few games. It was not like it was a mutual fight. It was like fat albert a few years ago stomping on someone. If memory serves me right Albert was suspended 5 games., but it was worse as it was to someones head without a helmet. It would not surprise me to see him get 1 or 2 games.

Shaun Hill needs to be in this game. Stafford has a broken index finger on his throwing hand and it is in a splint. That is the most important finger for aiming and putting rotation on the ball. He should not have started today.

For all the build-up of "Game 1" today, this has been a letdown. I was expecting one of the three games to be really good. This one is not "it".

On a side note, Woodson still continues to play at a high level. That guy has had a really nice career.

What a pathetic 2nd half by the Lions... I'm going to start rooting against these chumps for quitting in the 2nd half. You think they'd play with more emotion considering this was their best chance at making the playoffs... and instead they played passive and with no sense of urgency as the Packers slowly increased their lead.
