That's really sad. Makes you wonder if all those meds out there are really that safe. But there's a lot of factors that go into things like that.

Drs are quick to put you on meds before they really know exactly what you need. I know with my mom, she was probably on 8 or 9 different meds...some were solely to deal with side effects from the primary meds...she told them enough...I'm not going to get better, quit trying to keep me alive with this stuff...she was terminal so we agreed with her. She lived a few w/o the meds.

In my friend's case, I can't say the meds were the cause. He was on blood thinners and had a blood vessel rupture in his head....wasn't a pretty site I heard from one of his co-workers that was an eyewitness.
