I had the same exact thoughts about the Seahawks before the Russ injury, if they had even an average D they would be very hard to beat.

Shoot...Dallas last year had an all time bad defense, season ender after 5 games for the QB, both tackles for most of the season, and the All Pro guard for6 games. Nobody gives a shit.

Thing is the Cowboys and Dak was a partnership continuing for the future, and defenses can be rebuilt relatively quickly with a good draft and FA period.

The Wilson trade rumors happening every time Wilson's contract comes up or the team sucks would give me the jeebies if I were Seahawks fan. That Seattle roster makes KC's look like a bunch of all-pros.

Chiefs did come 3 games away from winning 3 Super Bowls. They'll have to settle with that.

It may easier to draft an EDGE than initially anticipated if KC is bounced early in the playoffs or outright misses it, if nothing else. I doubt they miss it though...
