Really working hard to get a deal done, but can't lineup anything that really helps my cause.

QB - Rivers, Dak
RB - McCoy, D. Murray, M. Gillislee, D. Henry
WR - B. Marshall, R. Cobb, D. Baldwin, D. Moncrief, T. Williams
TE - Z. Miller, M. Bennett

Truly stumped. I messed up in a big way trading Jordan Howard for Tyrell Williams right before he went off vs MIN. Dealt Jimmy Graham for Cobb and M. Bennett. It's like I'm stuck chasing my bets after losing that Howard deal.

Now I have all kinds of depth at WR, but I can't seem to get much substantial offered in return for it to help elsewhere. If my roster stays as is, I'll have the biggest headache come playoff time deciding which three to play.

Almost thinking about swinging for the fences. Offering the Julio owner. McCoy and Cobb for Lamar Miller and Julio.

It's tough but not because of your WR depth. You are actually not as deep as you think. The problem I see is that you made awful trades previously. And not because they haven't worked out. Inl look at your team and yo are weakest at TE. Why trade your best potential TE??? then you trade Howard to get a WR that would stay on your bench. You never trade a bench RB for a bench WR as bench RB have much more value and you can always find a short term replacement on waivers.

I would try to upgrade at TE. But i don't see this happening. So i would likely stand still unless of course someone accepts something crazy.

You don't really have a lot of WR assets that people will be knocking down your door for. Most have depressed value at this point. Cobb and Moncrief injured and not performing all that great. Baldwin being forgettable in that offense and Williams up and down probably being your 2nd best option. That Julio idea is insulting as a offer. You shouldn't get Miller for McCoy and no way Cobb comes remotely close to Julio.

Lol... dude. You say this as if I could see the future a week ago.

One week ago, the consensus was that Howard would be out carried by Ka'Deem Carey for the rest of the season. Not only that, but with Langford back as well, that basically all three of them would have their value lost to in a full blown committee. MANY people had written Howard off, I'm a die hard Bears fan... and I nearly had. I was simply getting a solid flex play in Tyrell (who I do like) before Howard's value dropped off the face of the earth.

As far as TE, I like Miller a lot going forward. Seattle's passing game is really struggling, and Cobb has had big outputs in his last three contests. I actually still like that deal, and would do it again.

In the league I am in, McCoy is worth more as a keeper. I won't bother getting into the explanation in full. However, you can keep one player every season, and you keep him in the round he was drafted in. I've had McCoy since he was young in the 4th round. I would basically be giving this owner McCoy this year, and for him to have every year in the 4th round for the rest of his career. Julio and Miller were first round picks, so they have no keeper value.

If tyrel is a solid flex play for you then I don't see what your problem is.

You missed my point. I don't care whether you liked Williams better or not. If you were willing to trade for a WR then you can't complain about your WR depth. If you were so deep then a bench RB is more valuable than a bench WR. No matter who that player is.

If you didn't make that trade were you going to drop Howard?? If the answer is yes, then fine. You made the right move. Maybe. But if the answer was no then you got to ask yourself why. And then you'd realize why that was such a bad trade for you.

Well, even if Tyrell is a solid flex play... that still doesn't at all make up for me trading away a RB who just went 200 all-purpose yards and a TD versus the league's #1 D. I was not prepared to immediately drop Howard, but I was willing to gamble on him not re-emerging as a featured back. I lost that gamble.

As I said, easy to say it was bad now. I had a thread asking about this deal before I made it, and EVERY response was a resounding "yes".

My line of thinking was that I could make a couple of deals and swing that depth into something. Right now I'm sitting on offer I just got of Sproles for Baldwin. Outside of that, not much doing...

Well don't go selling low on Baldwin. Wait to see if RW gets healthy.

Is Paul Perkins available?

He is. Now I go back to not being sure who to drop, like in the other thread. However, I suppose he's worth it. Given my situation.

I've been offered Sproles for Baldwin and Robert Kelley/Sanders for Bennett/Baldwin. Still kind of working on it.

Thing is, if we don't know the ins and outs of your league, we have to take things at face value. In that regard, I'm with SoShady on the Julio/Miller thing.

A couple things... it wasn't resounding as i was one on the thread that was opposed it... and most just said it was a fair trade... there is a difference between a fair trade and whether you should do it or not...

But that is irrelevant... My problem with this thread isn't whether the deal is fair or not but that you believe you have an overload of WRs... If you thought that the trade was going to tip the balance so much then you made a bad trade no matter what... Don't complain about having too many WRs after you trade a RB for a WR...

Kinda funny, tho...the way Jordan Howard suddenly became TRich the Second, that Tyrell Williams deal must've looked good at the time. Still shaking my head at the way Howard's value crashed and burned like that...

Yeah, he definitely did. I remember yelling at the TV during the two previous games vs JAX and GB as he ran straight into the backs of his lineman, with open room to the left or right of him. Carey looked like he straight up took the job from Howard during the GB game. Out touched him.

To be fair, it's hard to trust John Fox with a rookie. I still look at Howard more down the road, but he certainly is trying hard to change Fox's mind.

Tyrell still could end up as Rivers' number 1 this year, so who knows? Might work out well for ya in the end.

Yeah, I am actually fairly confident Williams will be Rivers #1, and I also have Rivers. With OAK and CLE on the fantasy playoff schedule, that could be a very nice QB/WR tandem.

Just really hate having 4-5 WR's of roughly equal value, with only three slots to play them each week. I have a penchant for over thinking things, lol. I usually do a good job of trimming my roster down to where I have my clear cut starters for my playoff run, and then my handcuff/depth guys. Might be stuck with some tough decisions come playoff time.
