This series was always gonna go 5

No other way this was going down other than 5 games. After watching the first 4, it is clear that the big difference between the teams is pitching which would give the Dodgers the edge. That said, this is one game and its a Giants-Dodgers game where crazy things have been known to happen.

The Giants have their one really good starter going, they are playing at home and destiny seems to be on their side. The Giants know that it is now or never for them, this sequence of events will not re occur and its not now or never for the Dodgers. They know that they will be an absolute juggernaut next year with 5 Cy Young level starters in their rotation once they get Bauer and Kershaw back. They could win 120 games so it may not mean as much to them.

I have a good feeling about this one.

Ah, the old “He’s due” argument. Stupid when K&K use it (they use it a lot, though primarily in jest), stupid when doggie fans use it.

Webb is not the same pitcher this year he was last year. He has, surprise surprise, improved with experience and coaching. And the Giants sucked in ‘19 and ‘20.

Maybe. But I'd stick with Urias. He is the proven commodity. This seems like just one more piece of incredible good fortune that has kept the Giants right up there with The Best Team Money Can Buy all season long.
