I would still prefer a TRUE zone. But if you are going make it up, at least be consistent with it.


The fact that they are allowed to make their own zone is a fucking joke though. Imagine an NFL ref awarding first down after 9 yards, or requiring 11 yards to get a 1st.

Or an NBA ref allowing 4 steps without calling a travel.
