Diamondbacks are power and pitching. I think the Dodgers young arms are susceptible here. D’Backs in 4.

Dodgers rotation outside of Kershaw/Miller has been awful this year. That lineup and bullpen has carried them.

I love Kershaw (that’s right, I said it!), but Dayum, son. Your legacy is totally tied to your post season suckage.

Nice to see Corbin shining on the postseason stage so far. He's a fun player

Just got home and I see Kershaw still sucks in the post season.

It's hard to blame Friedman for this.

Urias likes to beat up women
Buehler wasn't ready
May got hurt....again

Could he have done more at the deadline? Yes, he could have.

Friedman problem is that he over values his own prospects. This isn't Tampa Bay. He holds on to every prospect. You can't do that and build a team because not every prospect works out. In LAs situation, Miller looks legit, pepiot looks good, Sheehan looks like he might be an MLB pitcher, and stone looks like a career minor leaguer.

My point is, some of this is on Friedman, some of it isn't. Kershaw is done and Robert's doesn't see that. LA might have to start 3 rookies in the series if it goes that far. Friedman needs to sign 3 starters this offseason.

LA is toast

He is 35 and his fastball is way down.
He doesn't have the ability to pitch a full year and then into the postseason. I hate it, but he should be done in LA.

Unless they pay him 20 million again and leave him off the postseason roster.

The Giants will happily take him off your hands then

I think he is going to retire or play for the Rangers.

His body is breaking down sadly.
I would not be surprised if the LA staff has 4 new starters with Miller next year.

Urias, Gonsolin, and May won't pitch next season with urias being gone.
Buehler will be ready...maybe.

Sheehan isn't ready and pepiot might be long relief. Lynn won't be resigned. Stone will be dealt hopefully.

Miller might be the only pitcher in 2024 who is currently on the staff who starts.

Is his contract up? Why would he retire after having a good year?
