I think the Dodgers would liked to not allow 3 base runners to turn the lineup over so quickly but overall the strategy worked well.

Urias misses the big guys 1 time. And doesn’t have to bat once.

Another interesting thing about the Dodger strategy is they basically become an American League team with a DH and a pitcher never has to hit. Pretty smart.

The problem with that strategy is Urias is not infallible. he can be hit. he's good but not unhittable

How does that effect the strategy?

He would be the same “infallible” if he started the game.

Actually, you further prove why it was a good strategy. He hittable guy, missed 1 round of the guys capable of hitting him.

Trea Turner 2 pitches. Another weak dribbler.

Dude can’t even have a quality out

Dodgers simply trying to survive with both Turners looking like the Twins in October

Wow that ump fucked Bryant and potentially the inning bad. Just brutal.

That one pitch to Bryant that was ball four way below the strike zone but was called a strike by the umpire could have changed the outcome of this entire game.

Could have changed the entire game. Crawford would now be on third with no one out

I think the smartest thing about this strategy is that the Dodgers never have to have a pitcher bat. Pretty smart

Urias will bat once. He’s not only going 2-3 innings.

But yeah, that’ll be it.

Tough luck for Bellinger this year. Shoulder surgery, broken leg and fractured ribs. Geez!
