That was a VERY tough play. But if you hit like Bailey, you need to field like Jesus.

Anybody ever hit for a cycle in HR’s?

:heh:
That would be Amazing unlikely as it is but would love to see it but would need to turn over the lineup to get another at bat this inning as the A'zzzz would have to tie or take the lead for that to happen.

On Aug. 10, 2022, Springfield (Mo.) Cardinals first baseman Redmond, in a Texas League game at the Amarillo (Tex.) Sod Poodles, hit four home runs – a solo dinger, a two-run wallop, a three-run shot, and a grand slam. With this, he joined fellow minor leaguer Tyrone Horne, who achieved this unlikely triumph in 1998, as the only players in the history of organized professional baseball to claim a “home run cycle.”

Who called this guy washed?

Stand up and declare yourselves, you no-faith-having PsOS!!!

Huh?

I did? Really?

Nevermind.

Yeah, who was that that suggested this, about a guy with three homers and 8 RBI tonight, and has 41 RBI in 44 games played?

It’s never happened in the majors, but I think it has happened twice in the minors. A cardinal farmhand did it in the 90s I think.

Good pull. Both guys who did it were Cardinals who never made a mark in the big leagues.
