Holy motherfucker Atlanta!

That poor Hawaiian kid who came in to pitch in the second gave up 13 runs, 12 earned. Why did Mattingly just let him continue to get bludgeoned like that?

Multiple sources reporting that the Mets are on the verge of acquiring Francisco Lindor. Carlos Carrasco would also be part of the package. So far, only Gimenez and Josh Wolf reported going the other way, but I'm sure there's more to it on the Mets side.

Jared Porter (who was just hired last month) out as Mets' GM after old "sexts" emerge.

bravos going all in

Braves re-signed INF Pablo Sandoval to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

Jon Heyman of MLB Network says that Sandoval will receive a $1 million salary if in the majors. The 34-year-old finished last season with the Braves after spending most of it with the Giants. He was useful in 2019, but if Sandoval winds up playing much in 2021 it's probably not a good sign for the Braves

helps recruit venezula more than bolster the roster....cant see him making the major roster unless someone gets injured and it is out of desperation

Tebow retiring from baseball. I don't think he ever had a realistic shot at reaching the majors, but props to him for hitting as well as he did considering how long he didn't play any baseball. .223/.299/.338 for someone who didn't play since, what, HS? That's not bad at all, and he had a .734 OPS in AA. Shaq Thompson was drafted by the Red Sox out of HS and he failed to register a hit in 47 plate appearances in the Gulf Coast League. He struck out 37 times.
