I have no idea who they might consider to run the team. I have heard Skip Schumacher. Not sure about that. I hope whoever it is he gets a new hitting coach.

I feel sure we will clean house and our next manager will have his own pitching coach, hitting coach, and bench manager. Yes, this search for our next field manager will be interesting.

You never know about these middle of the road pitchers. Many of them have a good year followed by a bad year and the other way around. Burnes, with the Brewers, was nothing special until he developed another pitch which took him up to the next level.

It is interesting that the Cardinals were some of the biggest opponents of the DH and yet Pujols is the biggest story in the area right now

Yeah I'm not going to make any bold declarations about Nick because of today. He had the look of a cornerstone through minor league ball and all spring. Watched him a few times in Louisville in person. Also remember him, Brad Williamson, and TCU beating UK in the playoffs a few years back.

I thought Nick should have started Game 4 when Hunter got the nod.

I'd rather see Nick get more rope than Gutierrez or SanMartin....assuming Castillo, Mahle, Minor and Greene are locked in.
